One of the illustrations is of a seal, which can be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.examiner.com\/a-402018~Seal_attacks_swimmers_in_Aquatic_Park.html\">quite nasty<\/a>. The <a href=\"http:\/\/pinktentacle.com\/images\/10\/monster_scroll_13_large.jpg\">picture shows it is rather menacing<\/a>. Coincidentally I had been researching Moche watercraft from the 2nd to 6th century AD or so and found <a href=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3204\/3935579869_8e82da3d93.jpg\">this illustration<\/a> from a different blog, <a href=\"http:\/\/cedarmesa.blogspot.com\/2009\/11\/lost-in-translation-peru-part-2.html\">Echoes of a Mesa<\/a>.
