Little did I know that two months prior, <a href=\"http:\/\/networkedblogs.com\/p29231539\">Danielle Lee<\/a> from UMSL had her defense <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sciencemag.org\/sciencecareers\/2010\/03\/a-dissertation.html\">streamed live on the internet<\/a>, and took questions via Twitter! <\/p>\n<p>Danielle&#8217;s dissertation is on <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Prairie_Vole\">vole behavior<\/a>, which is far more adorable than my topic. You can see her presentation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/DNLee\/di-3448168\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, the now Dr. Lee also wrote great summaries of the<a href=\"http:\/\/urban-science.blogspot.com\/2010\/03\/countdown-to-my-defense-t-minus-5-days.html\"> dissertation defense process<\/a>, and reflections on <a href=\"http:\/\/urban-science.blogspot.com\/2010\/03\/how-dissertation-defense-in-science.html\">how it went<\/a>.
