24 Hour Comics is Here Again!

October 17, 2008March 20, 2010 admin0 comment

This weekend I’ll once again be at Midmococo’s 24 Hour Comics event. Like last year, the challenge is to produce twenty four pages in twenty four hours, from noon Saturday to noon Sunday. Last year was when I first became involved with Midmococo. Hard to believe that only one year… Read more“24 Hour Comics is Here Again!”

Delivery!

October 11, 2008March 20, 2010 admin0 comment

I got a package in the mail today: Ka-Blam.com did a great job printing issue 3. I’m going to have them print issues 1 and 2 and sell all of them via print-on-demand on their sister site Indyplanet.com.

Issue 3 is done! Now it’s all the formatting wackiness to get it in a printable state, but it’s here in it’s color entirety on the web. Hop to it!

Tales from Comic-Con, Day 4 (Sunday): I Just Want a Goddamn Cardboard Tube

August 2, 2008March 20, 2010 admin0 comment

I didn’t go to Comic-Con on Sunday in 2006 because I was tired of it by the fourth day. My family convinced me to go since I did have Comic-Con and trolley passes. A deal ‘s a deal! Getting there was no problem. Once inside, though it was chaos. Sunday… Read more“Tales from Comic-Con, Day 4 (Sunday): I Just Want a Goddamn Cardboard Tube”

Tales from Comic-Con, Day 3 (Saturday): Wait

July 31, 2008March 20, 2010 admin0 comment

To be honest I don’t remember much from Saturday. I hung out in the game room playing Rock Band. I hung out with Hae Eun at the Planet Tokki booth. Strange to say for an annual four-day event I’ve only attended twice but it was same ol’, same ol’. {Mid-Missouri… Read more“Tales from Comic-Con, Day 3 (Saturday): Wait”

July 29, 2008March 20, 2010 admin0 comment

Scott McCloud and the Rock Band tournament was just the first half of my Friday at Comic-Con. I did attend one panel: a screening of the last episode of Avatar. Avatar? Yep I recently got into it and watched through all the episodes all the way up through the series… Read more“Tales from Comic-Con, Day 2 (Friday, Part 2): I Must Find the Avatar… Panel”

Tales from Comic-Con, Day 2 (Friday: Part 1): My Own Personal 8 Mile

July 28, 2008March 20, 2010 admin0 comment

I found parking at the Fenton Parkway trolley station and got to Comic-Con at least a half hour earlier than Thursday. As I was walking there, a man with a box of cards handed one to me. It said Top Shelf 2.0, about a new webcomics project. He asked me… Read more“Tales from Comic-Con, Day 2 (Friday: Part 1): My Own Personal 8 Mile”
